Our team chose student athletes as our user group. We wanted to choose a user group that we could relate to so that we could come up with better ideas. Members of our group are athletes or know other student athletes, so it is easy to come up with creative solutions that our user group would actually use. As well, we thought that athletes were a relatively prevalent group on the UF campus, making it easy to test our theoretical product on a user population.
