EEL3111C Lab Projects
As part of Circuits, I completed ten labs making use of various simulation and testing software while reflecting those simulations on breadboard and PCB testbeds. Here are the project lab files marked with the respective technologies used (Waveform software implemented with the use of a Digital Analog Discovery Board).
EEL3701C Lab Projects
As part of Digital Logic, I completed multiple labs learning different skills along the way. Here are the project lab files marked with the respective technologies used. I worked with Quartus, MXDB, DAD, VHDL, circuit simulations, waveform simulations, CPU/ALU, and breadboard circuits.
EGN2020C Design Project
As part of EGN2020C, I worked in a group on a daylight sensor alarm clock design utilizing arduino
Engineering Design & Development Capstone Project
As part of EDD, I worked with a teammate over a year to prototype an iterated UV-LED wand with increased security features and portability.
Machine Control Design Project
A “cookie factory” needs my team to design a device that will put a chocolate drop on top of their peanut butter cookies. Using the knowledge given by PLTW’s Principles of Engineering course, I created a machine utilizing VEX equipment that is able to solve the cookie factory’s needs.
Structural Design Bridge Project
With public funds for infrastructure development at a low in government budgets, the “client” asked me to design a bridge that is expected to cost the least amount of money. Much of America’s bridges are in need of repair and replacement and a good design could be used on a large scale to build up America’s infrastructure. Using West Point Bridge Designer software and the engineering design process, I create the lowest cost possible bridge design that meets all design constraints.
Candy Dispenser Design Brief Project
The Candy Company is celebrating its 50th year anniversary and would like to provide consumers with a candy dispenser that will house the four existing bite-size candies that they currently produce. They also want new shapes created for each candy.
Engineering Automata Design Project
In this project, I create an automata using Autodesk Inventor. This project builds upon previous concepts explored creating cams and the crankshaft. Once the cambox is created, the individual cams are added along with the display automata at the top of the box (they aren’t pretty!). This project explores how we use constraints between different part files brought together in an assembly file, and the limitations that entails.
Engineering Documentation Automoblox® Project
Engineers from a novelty toy company working to design accessories or enhancements to the existing Automoblox® vehicles. In this project I detail the Automoblox® vehicle with technical drawings to provide detailed information necessary to design accessories and enhancements that will properly connect with the toy. In addition, I begin the process of assembling a portfolio to present my reverse-engineering efforts and technical documentation of the product.
